Pamela F. Starr, University of Nebraska–Lincoln

Pamela F. Starr is Professor of Music History in the Glenn Korff School of Music, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Among her favorite courses is “Music History Pedagogy,†designed for DMA students. Although she has presented and published on fifteenth-century music patronage, early modern English music culture, and music in film, one of her most cherished publications is “Teaching Music in the Centrifugal Classroom†in Mary Natvig’s  2001 volume, Teaching Music History.
