Abstract
The field of music history pedagogy has a rich history of discourse dating back to the beginning of the twentieth century. Numerous journals, dissertations, essay collections, and conference proceedings of professional associations have provided space for music history pedagogy scholarship. This article provides a comprehensive bibliography of the field, bringing together all of the available scholarship and discourse related to American music history pedagogy. The bibliography concludes with a list of presentations given at the 2011, 2012, and 2014 Teaching Music History conferences.
