AMS Rochester 2017: Call for Meeting Volunteers

The AMS Rochester annual meeting will require about fifty volunteers to assist in meeting room monitoring, registration desk assistance, and other jobs. Volunteers will be provided complimentary registration and a stipend of $11 per hour worked. Volunteers agree to serve for a minimum of six hours (maximum of 10 hours) during the meeting (Thursday morning, 9 November, to Sunday noon, 12 November).

NOTE: All assignments are currently full but additional shifts may become available. Please complete the application to be added to the waiting list.

To participate in this program you must be a current member of the AMS. Upon completion of the application form (link below), a confirmation will be returned via e-mail. Please select assignments in order of preference and select alternative assignments in case your preferred assignments are already taken. Assignments are given on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to limit your hours, please note this in the comments field on the form. Once your assignment is confirmed, you will receive your schedule. The AMS office will complete your conference registration: do not register yourself. (If you have already registered, your registration fee will be refunded with your conference stipend payment.)

Volunteer orientation meeting: Thursday, 9 November, 7:30-8:30 a.m., McQuaid Room, Radisson hotel (does not count toward hours worked). This meeting is strongly recommended for first-time volunteers.
