AMS Eileen Southern Travel Fund Referral

for a student who has applied for financial assistance to attend
the annual meeting of the AMS in Rochester, 9-12 November 2017

The American Musicological Society seeks to ensure the vitality and diversity of musicology by encouraging participation by African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Native-Americans, and members of other groups historically under-represented in the discipline. To that end, the Society established the Eileen Southern Cultural Diversity Travel Fund Awards in 1995 to expose selected minority undergraduates and terminal masters degree candidates to various aspects of the field at the annual meeting of the AMS.

Please write a short evaluation of the applicant's potential for graduate study in musicology and upload your endorsement using the facility below, or email your endorsement to the AMS Office.

Please complete the following information. You will be prompted to upload your referral after this is submitted. Upon successful file upload, a message "Upload Successful" will appear. If you do not get this message and/or if you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the AMS office,
